Is it really like bbm? My bf and I both had/have blackberries and the one thing I'm going to
miss is bbm! We only talked to each other on it but it was so nice. I have a since, and he is deciding
between the X and the dinc.
 
Has anyone tried ping with a froyo ROM because it isn't working for me. I'm wondering if it is the ROM or the app that isn't compatible
 
Sooooo just to clarify... How does Ping operate? Droid to Droid only? or Droid to BBM\Droid to iPhone?
 
How far away is permanent group chat, and are you guys trying to add more functionality to be more like BBM? Awesome app btw!
 
Enflick, first off keep up the good work. I do appreciate useful apps as do we all. Especially when they're free. One question though, is there any way to add a person to an existing group?

How is pingChat different from any other IM client? I understand it does not ask me for login details, but other than that (I can have my IM client setup to login automatically :)) can I send texts to a phone number if i dont know the other user's pingChat ID or if its not installed on the other user's phone? Can I send international texts also?
 
I havent got unlimited data but i have a fair use , so i was just wondering how much data this pingchat will use up per month on my Android? :)
 
eeek! I haven't used ping in a long time. Had it on my ipod touch but no one else that really used it. Wonder what name I used. hmmmm, may have been cooksalot, may have been another gaming name. Well I'll download it and just use my ol' cooksalot name.

I just dled PINGCHAT on my Samsung Vibrant and I am not getting my messages INSTANTLY. My boyfriend also downloaded PINGCHAT on his blackberry and the same goes for him. Is there something we need to do in order to instantly receive message like BBM?
