Help Pink display problem

As it's only greys and reds, It has to be a contrast issue.

A similar test would be up the red on your LCD monitor at full brightness untill it's almost pink, then knock back 2 clicks of the adjust button).

Then reduce the brightness, and you should see the same issues as we're having. Which must mean it's a driver issue.

Has anyone else noticed their screen becoming less pinkish?

Either I'm getting used to it, having dropped brightness to 3 from auto, and colours arent as bad as they were when I got the Desire.

I didnt thing AMOLEDs needed a burn in period? Or is it that they do, and HTC simply bought theirs without having had the burn in period? (guessing to get quicker and/or cheaper?)

Man... "What the eyes do not see, the heart does not miss." Now that I've seen it, I'm kind of disappointed that mine is SO VERY PINK compared to the iPod Touch that I have. The iPod's color is so much truer than my Desire... damn.

It'd be neat if they sent out replacements when the issue gets resolved.

I almost wish i hadn`t read this post ,just checked mine by looking on HTC site ,and comparing with same site on my laptop ,very pink! ,tried different brightness settings doesn`t help, had it set to auto at first and very pink.
Strange though ,there are grey items ,tabs etc on the same site that do appear light grey.
What to do?
