Piriform CCleaner Android Beta

For the PC, it cleared out everything - browser history, the registry, temp files etc.

It looks as though the Android app will do much the same sort of thing:

The feature set is already extensive and full of essential tools to keep your devices running like new:

I just sent you an invite via G+ to join. See if that helps. For me there was a "Join Community" button either in the top center or top right of the page. It took a try or two once I joined the community to be able to get to the download in Play.
 
Hope it doesn't break as much stuff on the android side... I hate having to fix any computer where they've been running ccleaner
 
I have been running CCleaner on my desktop and laptop since many years but so far no untoward effects occurred.

Ditto, it's a great program.

I imagine I'll have less use for it on Android, but I'm intrigued to see what it does.

When I try clicking on the 'Become a tester' link I get the following message from Google Play :-


"Sorry, there is nothing to see for you here.


This could have several reasons:
  • The app you are looking for doesn't exist<LI class=light>or
  • there is no testing programme going on<LI class=light>or
  • you are not eligible to participate in the testing programme.
If you received the link to this page from someone, we recommend that you contact this person for more information."

I note that the link has a Google Play icon by it so does one also need to be a member of Google+ to become a tester?

PS I have used Ccleaner on my PC quite frequently over more years than I care to remember and it has never ever given any problems. Indeed, apart from it removing all manner of junk files to create space etc it is very useful if I want to start afresh on some shopping site such as ebay or Amazon.
 
The link isn't working for me either, just says "Item not found" when taken to the GOOGLE PLAY STORE.
 
I'll try it on another device as well, see if it works any faster.
Also attempted to d/l via desktop to mobile & still the same results.
Will pop-in later.

Ditto on CCLEANER for Windows.Just recently went PRO. Not a PC Guru by any stretch, but, even the free version of CCLEANER is a can't-miss for desktop.
 
It let me become a tester straight away. They must have been waiting for me lol.

Got it to install, but, it's not responding when I check a box/category to clean.

I'm able to navigate the app, it's just not responding to cleaning.
