Help play store problem

hello

I have a galaxy s3 rooted with cyanogenmod 10.2.0-RC1

It's been like 3 weeks since my play store stopped working, it closes as soon as I open it. I did searched on the forum but, with no luck. I tried erasing data/cache, resetting the app preference, disable/enable download folder, erased my Google account and add it again, uninstalled play store and installed it again... but nothing seemed to work. In my desperation, i finally reset it to factory mode thinking it was going to be the end of my problems, but guess what? IT DID NOT WORK!!!

I just don't know what else to do. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Welcome danielb88!!

Did you try to reinstall the correct gapps? Perhaps another app that the play store relies on needs to be reinstalled? (with the gapps package)

Or, you could try a different rom, to see if the issue persists.

By the way, what carrier are you on? The reason I ask, is perhaps others with your carrier could help and we can move this to the root forum for that carrier.

If and when we find your solution, then others can benefit when searching for the same issue:)
 
Just as Mike and funky mentioned, it's either a bad flash or you may be using the wrong gapps.

First thing I'd do is try reflashing the gapps, since your on 10.2 make sure it's the gapps for 4.3

If a no go, try a rom reflash, if still a no go try a different rom altogether.
