Help Playing .AVI file

Hi There, Just got my Acer A500 yesterday and so far i am very impressed
Used it all day yesterday taking pictures and many videos, all videos work fine and there is sound, Added a .avi movie to my SD card today and tried to play the movie on the device, the movie plays but the is no sound, does anyone have any ideas why this is, i have downloaded 2 other movie apps but get the same problem, Hope someone can help 👍

EDIT: also tried using headphones but still get no sound?

What other apps did you try? I use Rock player and have no problems with video or sound.

Use mobo player.
