Playing Desire games on the PC

No. They are built for the android os. So unless you ran that on a pc which you can't no. Why would you want to ? Computer games are far better graphically etc anyway?
 
Yeah why would you want to?

Surely there is some work around to install an .apk on the Android emulator included in the android sdk but you have to mouse click the touch screen so it would be pretty crappy

You cab build apps on eclipse and preview it in the emulator, so that could create a back door
