Help Playing Gameloft HD Games on GSII

Hi!

I've just bought a GSII and I really LOVE it!

But just one thing is missing though, I can't play Gameloft HD games because it's not the Tegra chip.

I heard about Chainfire3d but can't find good instructions on how to make them work properly. Is it working correctly? How to do it?

I'll have to root my device because of so, so I would like to know before doing it : is it worth it?

I installed Lets Golf 2 HD today and it worked fine, thats from Gameloft, not sure about other titles.

Got about 10 games optimized for galaxy s2 real football, hero of sparta, brothers in arms etc all play fine on mine. Just log onto their site.

you have totally confused tegra zone with gamesloft. most gamesloft work with the s2

Yes there's some versions made for the GSII but there's plenty of game made for example for the GSI, like Sacred Odyssea. I tried to install one version I found on a forum (yes kind of illegal but there was no version for the GSII so I just wanted to give it a go).

The game starts, I can see the menu, but everywhere where there supposed to have 3D, it's black...

Any ideas? Thanks

Try using chainfire 3d with the POWERVR plugin. The SGS1 runs with a powervr chip set. Other then that, there are LOTS of game loft game titles now available for the GS2 that work however some are quite glitchy due to gameloft's coding.

Okay so finally, I rooted, I installed Chainfire3d, installed POWERVR. And still no 3d from GI games... Damn it!

I hope I did every right but I followed carefully every instructions about CF3D...

Goto your browser on the phone and search for Gameloft using Google, click the first link and it will take you to the Gameloft wap store, here you will find all the games released for the SGS2.

It's that simple.

Chainfire 3D doesnt work that well with Gameloft games intended for other devices, very low success rate.

I'm not dumb, I know which games are made for GSII and which aren't.

I wanted to play the games that were NOT made for the GSII and I finally had it!

I installed the plugins but I wasn't using them. On 5 games, every one of them works. 5 gameloft game working with the POWERVR plugin. Very low success rate?

In the end, it's really not that hard.
