Playing Videos from SD

Hi,

So i got a Sandisk 16GB micro-SD card and tried to use it to store a bunch of mp4 movies on it. Unfortunately i can't seem to play any of the videos if i move them from my tablet onto the SD card. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Try installing MX Player. It is a pretty good video player and plays just about anything you throw at it.

I copy my Mp4 video files to my 16gb micro card and find them in with all the other picture files in the gallery. This is where you start them from not from the card.

saptech is right install the MX Player from Google Play, it works great.

Have you tried other video formats, e.g., .avi, .flv, etc? My .mp4 movie file plays fine on the extSdCard with the stock Video Player and QQ Player and ES Media Player (from ES File Manager). Have you tried playing the file on your PC or otherwise ascertained that the files are playable?
Actually, if it's playable on the tablet but not on SD, it's probably not a player issue but something else.
