Help Playon over 3G?

Has anyone gotten Playon to work over 3G? I heard it's tricky and if you do get it working, its choppy. Wondering who uses it.

where did you "hear" its tricky? i have no issues with it on 3G or 4G. I use a novatel mifi hotspot sometimes and cellular data direct most of the time and no issues.

the bottleneck occurs at your local server. if you are on a slow computer and/or it has resource intensive processes running in the background you will get delays and buffer issues.

Just random threads. It works great for me on WIFI, but not 3G. Can't find it. I'm thinking I might need to port forward, but can't find info for Playon port forwarding.

Playon works fine on 3G. You may want to go to the Playon forum and submit a trouble ticket over there so they can troubleshoot your issuse They are very helpful as long as you submit a trouble ticket
