Root Pleas pleas pleas help!!

My little brother was messing around with my phone. I have no idea what he did, but the phone won't get passed the htc screen. I can still get into recovery, but I cant select anything. Is my phone bricked?

He said he updated the rom, but I don't know what he mean.

I really need my phone!!

FYI I know please has an "e" my mistake.

OK, I can get into recovery now. What should I do?

Factory reset probably won't help if he flashed a bad ROM but try that first. Next step is to flash an RUU.
