I am thoroughly surprised at the capability of the DInc's camera. I can easily get within 3-4 inches of the subject. This qualifies it for a "macro" ability.
As a herpetologist, being able to take pictures of say, salamanders, that I come across will be great. Of course, as a novice photographer I know this phone won't compare to a dedicated camera, but having the ability to photo-document something is tremendously valuable. In fact, I lost out on a new county record for a Pine Barrens Treefrog because I couldn't get close enough to the frog with my phone to get a decent photo.
Question: Nowhere in the specs does it say anything specifically about the camera. Are there any websites that have tested the camera and determined definitively it's features?
