I just called the Internet Sales Customer Service number (866-338-7390) to find out what the deal is regarding this and the friendly rep I spoke with informed me that they are out of stock. She said they received the Incredibles sooner than expected, so they started filling orders and ran out. She said they "should" receive another batch in time to fulfill the April 29th deadline for pre-orders. Lucky me. :mad:
 
I just called internet sales and verified everything... said I'm good to go and I will get my phones on Thursday. Should get a tracking number soon.

Wait, so they DIDN'T tell you the phones were out of stock and they're waiting on a new shipment? If not, that's just the opposite of what they told me not more than 30 minutes ago.

Yea the phones are in stock, the Rep. I spoke with earlier said that everyone was getting the message that the phones were out of stock but he checked and they have plenty.

Well, that's good news, but I wonder they were being instructed to tell us they're out of stock?

Right. For what its worth I also spoke to my business rep who checked the warehouse inventory, he said they have over 13k which is a good number for this launch (whatever that means)
 
I had to order 2-3 hours to late to be in the other batch

Just spoke with internet sales, so first I mentioned to her that I pre-ordered the Incredible and I wanted to know if there was an issue with my order since it said to check back tomorrow. She first gave me the generic answer that you all have gotten, that this is due to it being a pre-order, everyone's status says this as they have not been shipped. I then said well my friend ordered at the same time I did and he received a tracking number already. She came right back and said that there was a glitch and 100 orders were already sent out??? This seems kind of shady, she then went in and specifically looked at my order status and said it is in "holding" waiting to be shipped and everything looks ok. I am going to have a huge issue with Verizon if I don't receive my phone by Thursday.

I think we are all just so eager for the phones that we've become OCD.

Probably just need to chill and let these folks do their job.
 
I'm not buying the processing in the order they were received. I ordered mine on the 19th at 7:30 am est and I'm stuck in this weird que.
 
Well since I hadn't received my email yet with my tracking number I called internet sales again and she gave it to me over the phone, so I'm good to go. I expect to have it tomorrow since every 2 day shipment Ive recived from Verizon coming from Memphis has arrived next day. Good luck every one else.
 
Dont always go by the stupid VZW message "order received, check back tomorrow". Mine still says that and was shipped already with expected delivery on weds.

I agree, and am willing to give them until Thursday, like I said I will just have an issue if i don't receive it by then.

That's nice. I have yet to receive any email updates from Verizon aside from the initial order confirmation.
 
I order at midnight the first day that we could. Call this number up regarding your order.

It is specifically for the Order Processing Team. I had a problem with my initial order because the bank thought it was fraud and denied the charge. Called the Order Processing team, explained the situation and gave them a new card which they charged right away. Phone shipped same day and I am getting it wed.

Yea, I tried this morning and they said everything appears to be fine. Did you specifically ask for a tracking number when you called? This morning, the CSR I spoke with was not very happy to take another call about the incredible.
