Help please create a custom rom for GALAXY Y......that enables flash plugin

tar archives don't contain absolute paths, only relative ones.

Anyway its a warning and should work ok

try this

tar -C /system/* >> /sdcard/PDA.tar
 
not getting anything................frustrated.......... :-(.......johnstone and varun ill try after sometime....................
 
i have a apk file that says, "Adobe Flash for armV6 processors"
I haven't tried it yet, please suggest me how i can test if its working.

I have tried websites that detect the flash version installed and its not detected.
But I was told that the mobiles which doesnot have native flash support will not be detected by the sites.

PS: I guess its not working!

anyways lemme know if you want the apk to test it urself, i'll upload it!
 
Mr. varun.chitre15 and others i would like to help.. :) soon as i get my galaxy y,

first of all we should focus porting cwm to galaxy y first, for the benefit of easy flashing..

there is a tutorial on how to port cwm to different devices.. im excited to work on this, i'll be having my galaxy y in a week, or after christmas.. im looking forward to work with you guys and share all the good stuff.. :D

The one u use while updating ur firmware or the one generated from terminal emulator
I need pda tar from terminal emulator

hey i have some ROMS which i have modified and is working fine on galaxy y and is tested too.
we are currently working on cyanogen and recovery for trail of recovery you can see this and the rom is also available on that website.

Replied on XDA too
I haven't tried that ROM yet because I wish to get CWM first, the one you suggest (Galaxy Mini) plus one which I know works(Galaxy 5) both have some problems(mounting and not permanent)
