Help Please explain ##778 hot spot

Click on the link and read through. I did this and it worked. It seemed slow though. Even though the link says 'tether", it does active the Hotspot feature.

That link you sent was for USB tethering. How do you get the 3g hotspot to work without being charged?
As I mentioned in my 1st post, it activates the mobile hot spot as well.

Amazingly enough, it worked! I was having difficulty earlier, but now it seems to do what you say. In fact I'm using it right now.
So now I have rooted WIFI tether
3G HOTSPOT
and Wired USB tether
For FREE!

This has been debated many times already. Unless you are using some obscene ammounts of data via tether, they aren't going to catch on.
Same thing could be said for using PDA net, wireless tether for root or any other programs out there that give you access to a back door.
I was at the bank today setting up a Free Business Checking account... It is free IF you keep a $3000 daily balance, $10,000 monthly avg balance or use your debit card for one transaction each month. If you don't do one of those three... $12 a month - so much for FREE!
