I am trying to figure out what is suddenly using my battery up. I used to go all day and end up at 40%. Now I am at 12% by 5 pm. I downloaded system panel, but I am sorry to say I do not understand it. Any one able to explain it to me? Thanks in advance.
(I also went to settings....battery use....still not sure what is wrong)

Ok...Open system panel. On the top, you'll see a pie chart named CPU, and a bar labled CPU Clock. If both of those have full, that means something is using a lot of cpu. Net Receive/Net Transmit shows network usage.

Next is the list of apps, the graph on the left shows the CPU usage. If it's high, it's using CPU. The only other thing worth mentioning now is under the app Name where it says "CPU:" This give the total CPU time used by the app. If it's higher than everything else, it has been using more CPU.

If you look in menu->monitor it will tell you alot of system information.

Beyond that, hit menu->Help, and start reading.
