Root PLEASE HELP!!! 3G issues with 187HoneyBreadSandwich MOD

PLEASE HELP!!! 3G is acting crazy. I am constantly getting a "connection timed out" message when using the market. I got the speed test via wi_fi and it says im only getting 10kb. . 's down and 120kb's up. I really hope there is a flashable fix cause im not going to be at a computer for a couple days or something I can do from my phone. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks for anyone who can help.

Which Homeybread are you using? I know with Honeybread4 I had that issue with the Market, where I couldnt download anything. But with HB6, I didnt experience that problem and everything was smooth.

I have been running HoneyBread6 since I got it stable and I have not experienced this issue, nor has anyone else that I know of. I get 1300 to 1600kbps steadily. Which version are you running? Have you changed anything in the build.prop, or any of the init.d scripts? Have you added any other mods? I need more description to try to pin point the problem.
 
I had similar issues I'm running 187Mod HB 6 sometimes cant connect to google play also I do not receive notifications from market either letting me know that their are updates for my apps, I have to go to google play and update manually every time which gets annoying. Nothing done to build prop or any scripts. I was running ctmod 3.4 before I flashed to this too. Also tried different PRL'S to no avail no better signal or 3G speeds.

You can try doing this. Use Titanium to delete your current Market. Then use this zip to install an older version of the Market. You just put it on your sd card then go in to CWM and flash it. Make sure to wipe the Dalvik cache after you flash it. Also, this will update to the new Market after a bit. Just sign in and go about your business. I made this some time ago and have had many members tell me that it has worked very well for them.

The issue may be on boosts end as well since theh have been changing things and problems have arosed with with doing that. Like back in march I was having the same issue you are currently having for the whole month and nothing i did would fix it and now havent messed with my phone its gone back to my normal crappy speeds.
 
i was using the ej06 baseband with the rest fa19...im now trying it with all ej06....my market has still not updated??? im going to try the market fix posted in this forum
 
also the usb connection will not connect to the computer...i hit connect from the phone...it says its connected but the computer does not show the drive at all...i tried with a different phone and it worked fine
 
the market fix worked...it updated to the play store....but i am still only getting like 100kb/s down and 579kb/s upload...but when i first install the mod ill get 1200kb/s the first couple times i run the speed test then it just drops....i did the wifi teather to my labtop and did the speed test from the labtop and ill get 300kb/s down and 700kb/s upload. i do not believe i have changed any build props or scripts at all...i use odin to install the EJ06 rooted then put the rom on the sdcard clear user data and dalvik and install

I dont know bro. I will look further into it though. I have been out of town taking care of some family issues. I have not had anyone report the usb issue and I myself have not had any of these issues. But as soon as I get home I will try to figure out these issues.
