Root Please help an "dummy"

Im a newbie to all this rooting, but am intelligent enough to know when to ask for more help , before I try it myself...lol..Does anybody know in fort lauderdale / pompano beach area in florida there is somewhere to get rooted , dont expect it to be for free??? If there is a private section we can exchange phone or whatever necessary!!!!
 
Definitely look into what wet biker said.its really one of the simplest methods I've.ever had for rooting a phone.:rolleyes:
 
It took me 4 months to work up the courage to root my prevail but it really is simple and most of the people here a always happy to help with any little problems you may have,besides rooting is the easy part, later you will have roms to dig through and kernals and tweaks ect.ect.
 
Just have heard so many horror and GREAT stories buit understand that only I can make the decision and I have certain questions , Im not a super phone guy but would like to have a phone worth a shit and as of now this is not

I bought my first Android last year (the Prevail) and decided to root it. I knew absolutely nothing about rooting or Android and had it rooted in less than 15 minutes. The new method is even easier than the method that I used. :)

What step are you stuck at?
What version of windows are you running?
Why do you feel you are incapable of doing it itself?
The process is so easy, they're are very few obstacles that you may run into (maybe even none)

you just have to give it a shot :)
