Please Help!!! Any complete uninstaller app?

Even if I delete any app frm my phone(S3), the files do remain in the phone.

For example, lets say I unistall whatsapp, there is still a folder named whatsapp in the files manager.

So is there any app which can remove the app and it files completely?

(I am new to this forum. I am sorry if this query should not be posted here. Thanks)

Does the app still say it's installed to your phone? If not, plug your USB Phone cord and go through the files on your computer and manually delete the files to that application. That's what I do.

The App does not stay. Just the files. I know I can delete manually. But I just want to know if there is any app which will delete the files as well. Anyway thanks for your help.

First of all, welcome to Android Forums! Glad to have you!

Second, I don't know of any automatic way to do that. Android is a lot like Windows in that not all file locations are always cleaned on an uninstall. For a third-party app to do that, they'd require a database of all apps which create their own directories and remove them. I'm not sure that's possible.

When I want to delete an app, I go to SETTINGS:APPLICATION SETTINGS:MANAGE APPLICATIONS:DOWNLOADED and select the app to delete. Then, I click CLEAR DATA (sometimes twice). Wait for it to complete. Then, UNINSTALL.
