Help Please Help Data Problem

I am having a problem with data every time i go to use it wont turn on 50% of the time and when it does turn on it tells me to pick form Rogers or Fido ,since im on Rogers i pick Rogers and then data starts to work then after a minute it says Failed to download setting or something on the lines of that
or it just said go to Sony Ericsson - Sony Ericsson to get the correct setting i tried going there but idk what to do on the site

i recently installed X10 Eminence [ROM] and it switched my device to a X10i previously it was X10a

Can somebody please help me ??
