hi all....im in need of some advise...i have a samsung moment and have sprint....my 2 years is up so i can go to verizon and get the htc incredible or stay with sprint and was looking at the evo shift.the regular evo is way too big for me..i was wondering if anyone could help me decide? the pull out keyboard i like but its not a deal breaker for me.i can live with an on screen keyboard.i just want the better phone since ill be locked in for another 2 years..thanks to anyone that can help!

The Incredible is incredible - but it's older silicon. They have an Incredible 2 announced, better silicon, better display.

That's in Verizon's inventory system already, but I'm not sure of the availability date. Rumors are it's coming soon.

Also found some rumored specs that I don't believe at all because they're quoting older chips.

The Moment is real, today, and works great -- if interested in going to Verizon/Incredible, my advice would be to wait if possible and see what develops in the next week or two.

any chance Sprint will get an incredible type phone? I really like the incredible but want to stay with Sprint

Don't know. Sprint's been uncommonly quiet and we know that HTC has a number of models in pipeline (as do LG and a few others).

The CTIA industry show is later this month - that's the event when we learn more about Sprint's upcoming offerings and this year is no exception. Sprint's said to look there for more, but has only put out a single announcement about it last week that I've seen.

Until then, if I hear anything, I'll pass it on.

Thanks I appreciate the heads up. I thought the Shift would do it, but I really don't need the keyboard and like how thin the incredible is. I would grab the EVO but it's just too big for me.

I was going to wait, but recently got a shift and really am impressed with it. It may not be dual core, but it is wicked fast and the 800mhz processor is way underrated IMO. If you are into rooting, the shift has a ton of potential. there is a 1.8ghz kernal you can flash if it isn't fast enough as is. I like the size also, I don't think that it is too thick. Good luck with your search...;)

They might release a new phone.. if you don't like the shift probably whatever comes out from tomorrow's event you may like
