yes i amso you are now s-off?

yes i am![]()

will do, again sorry for the late responseexcellent
what i would suggest,is to run the RUU for the latest global ICS firmware. you can download it from here: Shipped ROMs
rename PH98IMG and flash it in hboot.
run the phone for a few days, and make sure all your issues have disapeared.
you can install recovery and install superSU for root access.( [29.08.2012] SuperSU v0.96 - xda-developers )
after youve run the phone a few days, you can try reflashing a rom.
make sure you:
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache
-wipe dalvik
-wipe boot
-wipe system
no need for any firmware patches if youre flashing an ICS rom![]()
will do, again sorry for the late response
can you tell me me... what was the point of me going to s-off
i really dont see any difference
for some reason i was under the impression that you wouldnt have to do anymore wipes.
you will defaintely have to do wipes when flashing roms.
you will not need firmware patches,as you can now flash any firware you wish, older or newer. the phone is not doing any security checks, and you have access to all partitions.
with newfound freedom, you will need to exercise caution. may want to read thru this:
http://androidforums.com/rezound-all-things-root/550408-s-off-guide-info-return-stock.html
Complete surprise but for what ever reason downloaded the img and it didn't update
I'll try re downloading it and see what's up
Don't mean to question help but why would I have to wait a couple days to see if the issues fixed to down load the other su?
how will you know if the issues you are having are due to the rom your running,or prollems with the phone itself? you need to give it some time with a stock phone to make sure everything is working correctly. that way,you know if any issues you encounter after a rom flash are in fact rom related. the more time you give it on the stock rom,the more secure you will be.
PH98IMG is only not found for 2 reasons:
1)sd card is not FAT32
2)file is not named correctly(phone must see PH98IMG.zip)
*make sure the md5 matches
*make sure PH98IMG is not inside a folder
*make sure you have put PH98IMG onto the sd card, and not internal storage
Alright i we nt back to stock im still s-off but my hboot locked
i also lost my root and my pics are still missing on the plus side to all of this i havent had any issues with my phone not letting me end calls
your hboot being locked doesnt impact anything,
if your pics and such were on the internal storage and got wiped at some point, they will not return.
you can easily add root access, just flash amon in hboot: PH98IMG-amon-3.15.zip
then reflash superSU in amon recovery: [29.08.2012] SuperSU v0.96 - xda-developers (download from the link labled "CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip")
