Root Please Help! Installed chevykernal!!

I followed a pretty explicit set of instructions and got 2.1 on my phone and it was working great, then I thought I'd be intelligent and install chevykernal.... now my phone just sits on the first M load screen. Though I can pull the battery and get to the boot screen.

I'm on a VZW Moto Droid

Any advice?
 
Ok... issue resolved. I luckily had my work blackberry and put the update.zip file from bugless beast back on the SD card using that, it updated and now my phone is working again. On that note... anyone know what I might have done wrong with chevy kernel?
