Root Please help, instructions here are unclear

OK I have a HTC evo shift (its my brothers) and I was wondering if any body knows how to root this bad boy all the root guides are a lil scary lol any help would be greatly appreciated

Video guide for full S-Off and root. It's how I did it many months ago with the shift.

You can find that information in Settings > About > Software Information

May I add that the latest OTA isn't supported yet, only by my method, ^^
