Help Please help me t_t

Whenever I send a text message that goes onto two texts, I get a "message not sent" notification. It doesn't matter who I am sending it to but as soon as I remove one character and make it a single text, it sends without a problem. Does anyone else have this problem?

PLEASE HELP..This is driving me nuts!! I've even tried doing a hard-reset!

The default messaging app doesn't split, IIRC. 3rd party apps like Handcent and Chomp do.
