Please help me with contact problem

I am trying to figure out my daughters contact problem. She just switched from the incredible to the incredible 2. I backed up her contacts with mybackup pro. I used her google sign in and she only has 30 contacts. When I used the restore feature of mybackup, she had 400. Somehow she put her contacts somewhere other than google. How do I find them and get them transferred to google? Thanks in advance for helping!
 
look at each contact and see what type they are saved under....... as 'phone' or 'google' conctacts.... if they are phone change them to google or they wont backup to google
 
Yep you are right.....they are all under phone. Is there an easy way to get them all to google? I sure hope we do not have to do them manually!

when it imports them it will ask you if you want to import as 'phone' or 'google'.......... select google
