Please help me

I've been using Nokia for all of my life. I'm now want to switch Android based phone. I've searched some brand and HTC Wildfire seem like suit to me the most. But I've seen alot about Andriod 2.1 can't install apps on memory and internal will get low when we install too many apps. I've read some roms upgrade it to 2.2 froyo but it seems to be hard for me to understand those procedures. I know that I'll install alot of apps and games when I buy HTC Wildfire, but is there any app or tweak to install the apps to memory card directly without upgrade rom to 2.2 froyo?

HTC have relesed the 2.2 update for the Wildfire, it is just a case of waiting for the carriers to release them.

I believe you can move most apps to memory card once installed. I haven't bothered yet as I've got about 20 apps installed to main memory and still have room to spare.

@Tony: Thx for your info, but could you tell me how to update it?
@philbridges: Could you tell me how to move apps from internal memory to storage card?

Hi, to see if there is an update for your wildfire to Froyo, go to= Menu>Settings>About Phone>System Software Updates and click on check now.
If your carrier has released the update for your wildfire and you've updated succssefuly to Froyo 2.2, you can download an app from the market called Apps2sd, there are quite a few of these apps, so just read peoples ratings and download whichever one you feel like.

Simon.

thx everyone for your contribution. I'm now using wildfire 2.2 froyo. :) But i have another question to ask, will apps be installed to memory card automatically or do i need another software to do so? sorry to bother, cos it is my very first time on android mobile.

Hi there, apps will not be installed onto the memory card automatically, you need to download an app from the market. On my wildfire running 2.2 Froyo i downloaded SDMove and SDWatch from the market, SDMove enables you to move certain apps to the memory card (not all apps can be moved to sd card). SDWatch is an app that tells you if you can move an app that you've downloaded ( you'll get a prompt in your notification bar). I think these two apps work excellent together, try them and let me know what you think.
Regards,
Simon.

if your updated to 2.2 if you go to settings manage applications you can store apps to your memory card (not all apps can be stored on card though)
