Help PLEASE HELP, Phone wont load

Issue:
I woke up this morning and my phone was off and wouldnt switch on. I pulled the battery and the phone started loaded and then kept doing a boot loop.
I turned off and switched on whilst holding volumn down this took me to the "root screen?". When i go to recovery the phone reboots and then the screen goes black and a single green line runs down the screen. It then switches off and goes back into boot loop. Im completely stuck and down know what to do next. PLEASE help.
 
Try a battery pull while the phone is switched on.

Otherwise, are you S-On or S-Off?

Hard to tell what has gone wrong, but if you are still unable to get into recovery and are S-On there may be nothing we can do but run an RUU to return it to stock (which will also wipe the phone, but that's a likely consequence of any fix here).
 
Hi Im s-off and have tried everything now lol. I reflashed the recovery image using android flash and was able to get into recovery one. Wiped the phone and flashed a new rom. everything started fine and then boot loop again and couldnt get back into recovery.

I have now flashed the offical RUU which htc released last. Phone boots and loads ok but I cant unlock the phone. Its crazy and makes no sense.
 
What I mean by unlock is when the phone loads i cant pull down the bar to unlock the screen.

I decided to go buy a new phone as Im off to Italy and needed a phone before I go. Came home from shopping and my phone is working again but with no root access. This means I paid
 
You should not have root after an RUU - you'd need to root it again. It's the last resort fix when you cannot do anything else.
