Please help regarding email

Hi everyone.

I'm new on here although have been lurking for a while trying to suss out my hero!!

I need help setting up my orange email account on the phone, I've tried searching the forum without success, point in the right direction if you can.

anyway when I try to set it up the phone responds with
'cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information. Your server is not responding'

This is driving me mental. Please be gentle as I'm not the most technically savvy with these things.

Dont know anything about orange email, but, assuming you have a mobile data connection (i.e. you can browse the web etc) it sounds most likely to be that youve got an incorrect address for the server.

I had same problem, so I opened a googlemail account.
The advantage is that the Hero is so simple to set up for google.
Also, if you put all your contacts in your google account via the online page, they automatically download to the Hero when connected to the internet, and you have them safe for life.
