Help please help screenshots with ics 4.04

Ever since the upgrade to the new ics 4.0.4... I cant take screenshots. Ive tried both the old way of home and power buttons (which now just brings up task manager) and someone even told me vol down and home button but that doesnt do it either. Help?! Is there a way to let samsung know theyve screwed skyrocket users out of screenshots?!!
 
It's home and power button. I press the power button slightly before the home button and then hold it until the screen flashes. It works for me everytime.
 
I can't get it to work either the home/power and volume/power options do not work for me either. I honestly wish I'd never fooled with upgrading to ICE Cream sandwich. Even after resetting the thing completely it eats up way more RAM, apps freeze and crash more, and I can't get the freaking thing to take a screen shot. Nor can I find any app to work on ICS to take a screen shot with it. I just HATE Ice cream sandwich, I regret ever "upgrading" to it.
 
Once again if your phone is stock and you have the official ICS update press and hold both the power and home button at the same time and it will take a screenshot. Not a quick tap, but press and hold until it takes the screenshot..

I finally got it but I have to say it's a pain in the butt!!! You have to time it exactly. I'm still only hitting it correctly at best one out of three times. It's far too sensitive and doesn't work that well. That plus the sluggish new keyboard and just how much slower the OS feels now than what it use to, very unimpressed with ICS. I've even done a fresh install and while that helped its still sluggish and RAM usage is way up over the previous OS.

In Ice Cream Sandwich...

Press the volume down button and the power button at (almost) same time and hold them together for around 1-2 second.
