Hello, I got my first smartphone yesterday and it certainly is different than my last phone. One reason I picked the Vortex is becuase the adveritsement said I could use my own music as ringtones. I'm not a stupid person but can't for the life of my figure it out. I show my songs did get transfered to my phone and if I go into the standard music app I can play them but I don't know how to get them into the ringtones section. My husband who is really good with computer and these kind of things couldn't figure it out either. Can someone please assist me? Thank you and merry christmas!

I don't have this exact phone so forgive me if my directions are wrong. My father has it though and I think if you are playing the song, click the 'hard' menu button and it should "save as ringtone" or something like that. If that doesn't work, download winamp and it makes it much easier

Hey, hope you are enjoying your new Vortex. But just to let you know, you have the ability to use your music as a ringtone with any smartphone out there.
After putting music on your Vortex, go to any song using the default media player. Press the physical menu key. After doing so you will see a pop-up menu that says: "library", "party shuffle", "delete", "add to playlist", and "use as ringtone".
