Trying to flash my HTC EVO 4G with cyagenmod 7. Used rom manager. Downloaded official rom. Every thing looked to be going great until my phone is stuck continously playing the little blue logo guy on the skateboard then the logo with the arrow going around in a circle. Its been playig that for about 10 minutes. What should i do now? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please help

moved you to the rooting section.
first of all ditch rom manager. it is very buggy and does not wipe well. do everything manually in recovery. i would also recommend that you switch recoveries to amon ra2.3 as clockwork mod just does not wipe very well and create issues. also with cwm you will not be able to flash certain files like amon ra2.3 can. here is a guide that will show you how to switch recoveries and how to flash a rom. http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. just skip the rooting process and go to the after root section.
on another note, the first boot can take up to 10 min for it to boot up as your phone has to build up dalvik cache when it boots up. sometimes this could take time. but anything longer then that then you might need to go into recovery and wipe everything but the sd card and re-flash the rom.

for the laggyness try and wipe dalvik cache and cache, but i would wait until you get amon ra2.3 onto the phone. like i said earlier cwm sucks at wiping.
