ok first of all i am very slow when it comes to phones and i came from an iphone and LOVE the captivate.. only problem i am having is downloading ringtones.. now i know you are suppose to find the sd card on your computer and make a new file called "ringtones". my problem is i cant find my sd card.. what am i doing wrong, can someone please walk me step by step in doing so.. i have found my phone but cant find the sd card on there.. thanks for any help and like i said keep it as simple as possible for me please
 
When you plugged it into the computer USB drive
did you pull the drop down menu down(where your notifications are)

and hit mount?

if u did, u should click on computer and see where it says removable disk
 
yeah i did that and thats where all my phone stuff is.. i have my music and pictures on there.. now the way i understand it there is suppose to be a folder that says something a sd card or something like that and thats where i make the new folder to put ringtones in... well theres not a folder that says sd.. my folders besides pictures are... albums, albumthumbs, android, bluetooth, DCIM, download, media, music and playlist..

The Captivate has an "internal SD" card which is what you are connected to when you select mount as hard drive. Your phone also has an external SD slot for removable cards which will show up as another mounted drive if you have a card installed. It is your choice where you decide to make and place your media for ringtones.
 
OK so basicly I just make a new folder name it ringtones and that's it? Where do they go on my phone once I download them. Will they be with the rest of my ringtones that came on the phone or will I have to find that folder on the phone also
