Help Please help!

hey guys i am a new user on this site, and ive been looking daily for updates nd stuff for this phone.
i have a problem and was HOPING some one could help me.
so i am TRYING to install the icarusMOD thing on ma phone
so i followed step by step from this link http://androidforums.com/ascend-all-things-root/267406-how-install-icarus-mod.html
so i did everything PERFECTLY correct up to step 8.
once i go to step 9; to reboot the phone into clockwork recovery thing i press the buttons correctly, but the phone does 2 things
EITHER it just turns the whole screen PURPLE..or it just freezes on the huawei sign with like a scratchy type background.
so someone plz help me, if i did not explain this right, plz tell where to elaborate more on, thanks guys

OMG...never mind it worked..i jus went to rom manager and downloaded the first thing on the list...it works now, sorrry

What did you download? Remember, you can not use the clockwork mod recovery that comes with ROM Manager. Read Step 1 of the Thread.
