Please help?

So i recently got a HTC Hero, and it has a messed up back already, it has fingernail polish. Any ideas? could you tell me how to get it off.... or how much do you think new ones cost? and where could i get them?

As a wild guess, i'd say to try nail polish remover.

I'm guessing it shouldnt do any harm to the plastic, as it's teflon coated, but there could be a risk. Either way, remove the back cover from the phone beforehand.

If that doesnt work, or the solvent does trash the plastic, you can get replacement battery covers direct from htc, or you could always try ebay, or just google for "htc hero battery cover replacement".

Not all of them are Teflon covered. I'd make sure to try a small amount first
