Root Please help..

I am currently running 4.5.1_57 and I am trying to be able to get the OTA GB so i can start messing around with the new APEX and Liberty that came out. Can someone please let me know if/what I have to do to be able to successfully do this without losing all my info or bricking my phone.

before you ask. No Stock GB can't be ROOTED. You have to load one of the pre rooted versions.

Also the new curvy icon your going to see next to your 3G symbol is the new vibrate icon. Meaning your phone is on vibrate if you see this.

What i was saying is that im pretty sure im already rooted with an early GB leak. Can i just throw this new one right ontop?

Only if you have the new .12p as your baseband. If so apply that zip file at p3's op and you're good2go. If you have the .07p then you will need to SBF.

im assuming if i have 4.5.1_57_DX5-3 and my baseband is 1.09.07P so i guess that means i need to SBF ? I dont really know what these numbers or words mean haha.. im pretty good with this stuff just not great yet.
