Help Please help!!!

So I think I just fudged my phone. I d/ld the rom manger app, then d/ld and installed the Huawei Ascend CM7.1 from the site under the playful god link. My phone rebooted and installed the CM7, a new android page loaded with a blue android with the word Ascend on it, after that a lil film reel with war images runs (I guess a boot anime) then it takes me to a screen with an unlock option in a half moon shape, but it won't let me unlock it, instead it just keeps re-running the boot anime over and over continuously. It won't let me into the phone at all, what do I do?!?!?!? PLEASE HELP! I really hope I didn't just permanently screw up my Ascend....

How can I do that if I can't get into the phone at all? I managed get the unlock to work but when I slide it it gives me an option for ADV(W?) launcher or Launcher pro, no matter which one I select it just re-starts the boot anime...

uninstall one of the launcher or pick set defualt and choose a launcher, if none work revert back to stock and start fresh.

I instead installed the cm6 via my sd while in the cwm mode instead of reverting back to stock. I got back into the sytem and everything is up to par, a lil trial an error on my part but I got through it. I'm considering attemping the cm7.1 again now that I think I've got this flashing stuff down.

I do have a couple of questions though. With this cm6 and other custom roms do I still need apps like root explorer, auto mem manager, cpu tuner?

Also where can I find kernals? A buddy of mine mentioned one called savage zen. Got any info on this?

only thing i use on cm6 when i tried it was AMM and root explorer, with root explorer you might want to keep that just incase you want to load a different boot animation or edit/copy build.prop for the sound can work, but i flash darks a2sd and save plenty of space and i dont use cpu tuner nor AMM cause you can set your cpu to whatever you want in cm7 and since all my apps is on sd i got rid of AMM.

Ok so I decided to keep those apps I mentioned all but cpu tuner which you really don't need due to the overclocking in the rom itself. But there are some apps I am missing though, for one it may have seemed like bloat to some but I really liked the metrowifi app which I can't gain access to because the metro app store is gone cm6. Also I grew really attached to the Swype keyboard, and I really can't stand the droid keyboard. I spent most the night going through (insert website here) and d/ld about 15 different Swype.apks half would say "Your trial of Swype has expired please upgrade" which I found no info on how to do so, the other half would tell me that I d/ld a version that wasn't modded for my screen. Can anyone hook up a link/d/ld to the Swype version that came standard with the Ascend 2.1/2.2 PLEASE? I MISS MY SWYPE!!!
