please help!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, I have a problem. So I rooted my MyTouch 3g and had a lot of fun with that. now I want to sell it and buy the Nexus one. so I want to reset the phone. the guy that want to buy the phone wants to keep it rooted but I want to delete all my personal information. so how can I remove my email, contacts, sms..etc without removing the root?

Please advice I need to get back before he changes his mind?

why dont you just reset then re root it for him?

so I can just do a factory master reset from the setting menu and root again and that's it? or do I have to follow a specific procedure?

If you're rooted, use the wipe feature from whichever recovery you flashed, then reflash the ROM and don't sign in.
