I know this will sound so stupid to some of you but.. I can not tell when my phone is on the net and when it is not! when I got the phone the guy at the store did away with all the widgets that was on it.. and I just do not have a clue as to how to go about finding one.. I know when I am at home it is on my wireles but when I am out and about and I go on to check something on line I end up having to turn my phone OFF all the way because I just do not know how to take it off line on the net!! OK told you it was stupid... can you tell this is my first smart phone!? thanks for ANYTHING you can tell me.....

Hitting the "Home" button at the bottom of the phone should automatically close ANY open programs/applications. Any that remain open should show upas an icon in the notification bar at the top of the phone.

To make certain you don't stay connected after you are finished, in your settings, set your browser to automatically close after 2 minutes of inactivity. Then if for some reason you don't actually log off, the phone will do it automatically for you.
