Root please help

i think i bricked my G2x trying to run cm7 .. after the reboot i got stuck on boot "cool boot" but cant get into my phone nor can i force recovery mode properly so can any help ....

Take out your battery and let it sit for about 5 mins, then put it back in, and try recovery mode Power+Vol down, hold it until you see the 2nd LG logo, then release it.
