hii came here from the admire forum and i also had a htc 3d both were rooted and running roms i'm a flashaholic. I've been running broken out rom i flashed the pdroid and throttle data cap. it worked great.but when i tried to flash back to recovery rom zv 8 it would'nt download the updates and it was running strange. do i need to re install the stock build prob. and if so were do i get them?

I'd try restoring the backup I made before flashing broken out rom and working from there.
did you flash the pdriod and throttle mod?? i've been back and forth too
no problems till i flashed that tweak.

As I said in the other post, the mods will not cause the issue you are having because going back to stock, be it through using a backup or flashing a stock rom, overwrites all of the system files. Because the prdroid mod, as well as the others are modified framework, services and core jar files, they would be removed completely (overwritten with the stock framework, services and core.jar files) once you went back to stock.
Its just not possible that the mod is the issue.
Try reflashing a stock rom from drac's thread. You might just need a fresh start.
