Root "Please insert a disc into Removable Disc F:"

I'm working my way through Technica's vids, but I'm stuck at the part where I'm supposed to paste the root "package" on my sd card. My phone is recognized in My Computer as Removable Disc F:, but every time I click on it I get a pop up with "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk F:." I've restarted my phone with no luck. Any ideas?

mine did the same thing, I just pulled the card out and plugged it into the laptop and dropped it on the SD card that way.
This worked fine for me.

This could be because didnt mount the card to the usb port. After plugging in the usb pull down the notification bar and select the option to allow you to access the sdcard. If you have done that and are still getting the error it could also be a corruption problem with the card. If you have another means of accessing the card save all data to you computer if possible and format the card within android.
