Please list Droid X froyo bugs, problems, glitches

sms doesn't sort for the newest messages.

sometimes my droid freezes and boots up but only the motorola screen appears and I can't see anything. have to battery pull twice to fix it.
 
Pandora not resuming after a direction is played from Google GPS. My wife has same issue with the Incredible. Before Froyo ok. I did a quick search and this is an issue with no solution. This sucks. If anyone has an idea how to fix this without going back to 2.1 pls help.

Im really annoyed with the haptic feedback, you can barely notice it bow. And the double . To get a , is really sad. Where is my 2.1 keyboard, can't we overwrite it?
Also the multitouch is being uber laggy typing this message like 2 words behind.

Nope. In fact, mine is much more responsive than before. What I'm noticing is a trend. A lot of people that are continuing to have issues with their phone after the update, did a battery pull because it was taking too long for the phone to start up. It seems like it's frozen. I refrained from doing the battery pull, and decided to see how long it would take
For it to restart. It took over 20 minutes, but when it was done, I have not had one single problem since! When it's down like that, it's just fixing itself. Let it run it's course.

Well I downloaded and installed 2.2 without any hiccups or problems and let it do its thing with its restart, haven't pulled the battery, haven't done anything but talk nicely and positive about froyo, and this is how it repays me (us).

Haha, I noticed that too. It's way to touchy on the 270 degree switch. Not just for LPP, but even in text app, browser, etc. Wish it wasn't so sensative

Aside from that, I've had positives with the update aside from the whole texts being out of order, the damn $ sign still not being fixed (ie it cost me$ 40 VS. it cost me $40) and the fact they have emoticon droid faces in texting app but doesn't actually show them in the text

and my timestamps are off by 3 hours.
they r 3 hours ahead then wut it really is.
this is only for the received text.
the send texts are the correct time.

is anyone else experiencing this?
i know with the leaked 2.2, people had the same problem
and was fixed with an update from handscent.

has anyone figured a solution to this?

if you just scrolled up on this page i told you a solution. delete your messages...then for now on they will be ok. so delete all the threads. and you are good.

delete all your messages. that will cause all the new ones to be in order

Mine have been fine but I'm in Eastern time. I remember someone else saying theirs were off by 2 hours. You wouldn't happen to be in Pacific time would you?

+1 for this issue, I'm experiencing the exact same thing.

No other problems although it seems the phone is generally slower than it was with 2.1

(EDIT* completely stock, not rooted, never had the leaked 2.2, no boot loaders, etc..)
 
1. texts don't show up in order of latest received, but seem to be in order of latest responded to? maybe not, just messed up
2. signal bounces from 3G to 1X and back
3. still some delay in typing - really disappointed in this
4. couldn't hear caller until *228

and I haven't even had time to check much else :(

Deleting old texts fixes that. And yes ive done it and can confirm this
 
My motorola digital clock widget is not working. It works for about 5 minutes then time does not update. Anyone else having same problem?
 
Battery status manager force-closing as well. A reboot might fix it, but that defeats the purpose since everything will be reset.
 
anyone else have the issue i posted earlier on the dialpad tones very very low even though its enabled and you really have to put ear on speaker to hear the dial tones this is really annoying

me too on battery manager force closing all the time now. Ugh.

And I hate the now too weak haptic feedback.

And agreed, the market is hiding certain protected/private apps.

And the vibrate / silent issue is also bothersome. As above, I liked loud -> quiet -> vibrate -> silent.

Otherwise, everything seems okay. I can't comment on battery life because I have been reconfiguring it almost non-stop.
 
I also have a problem with the stock Music app. It is very unresponsive - I click on a playlist and nothing happens. If it DOES play a song, it skips and cuts out.

Also, using LauncherPro and the app drawer is choppy and slow.
 
Basically all my music and video do not work anymore. Any time I try to play one of my recorded videos, it says "file cannot be displayed or played", and videos on youtube or played in the browser now say something like "sorry, video cannot be played." With my music and audio files, kinda the same way... Pandora does not work, my mp3's are now "files that cannot be recognized", and none of my downloaded soundboard apps play their files (the most unimportant, but still is a problem). Patch coming soon I hope? Aside from this, 2.2 hasn't been too noticeably different for me...
