Root Please Please help

I just wanted to know if flashing an sbf (to root milestone) erases all the data and apps. I bought Exzeus, and I do not want to re-buy it after flashing the sbf. Please tell me asap, as I really want root.
 
I'm going to move this over to the milestone root section for you. You should get some better answers there.
 
All your apps that are downloaded from the market stay in the google cloud. You should not lose any apps by rooting if you have downloaded them from the market. If you have to wipe data, your apps should re-appear once you log back onto your Milestone with your google account.
