PLEASE READ: Reguarding the 2.1 Update for the Motorola Droid

Hi, I know I have seen this in my phone someplace but I need to adjust the setting for the call log. I need it to keep more call logs. It used to keep like 20 days or so but now it is only keeping one day and about 10 calls. YIKES!!!

Any help???

Did either of you read the first post? I don't think you did. You came in with your guns cocked and just started shooting before you even know what your shooting at.

The thread is about receiving the OTA 2.1. How to save it when you get it. And getting it to Trident so he can host it when you do. I think you will be hard pressed to find 23 posts about those items.

I do not believe that any of that has to do with headphones or maps or anything else being discussed. This isn't supposed to be a free for all. otherwise, this wouldn't be a forum it would just be one big ass thread.

after a week they release a statement.. another words

"hey vzw customers.. we've known you guys havent gotten the update. But we couldnt think of a good anough explanation that would suffice the reason for the lack of communication.. so.. here is our statement. Yes, this statement doesn't really say anything at all. Oh, and btw, the release will be coming shorty.. as always" --Motoroloa :cool:
 
FWIW, I think you all should have unstickied this thread and started a new sticky one. It's going to be really confusing to someone who might read the title and then start reading the thread only to notice it's two weeks old. I know I got confused and I jumped over here from the other 2.1 update thread link earlier in the day.

Just a suggestion.

Can't it be copied and pasted into a new thread? Truly, don't mind me if you think I'm whacked, but I almost gave up on this thread altogether thinking it was the wrong one. And that's coming from someone who saw today's previous thread that linked here. I kept going forward and seeing nothing but old posts until I finally skipped to the end and saw like three new posts from today.

I say this kinda stuff because I'm really, really good at explaining computer workings (and the Droid and forums are computer-esque) to those not tech-literate. I'm the help desk at work. But feel free to shoo me away anyway. :)
 
Wow, I'm really sorry guys. I really wanted to help everyone out but the thing seriously installed itself. There was no downloading in background and no message like in the instructions. =[
