As is reading an entire paragraph with capital letters on every word, but to each his own.
If said user is a light to moderate user than perhaps another light to moderate user wants to what kind of battery life he/she will have. If it doesn't apply to you then move on to the next post. Hundreds of thousands of different EVO's out there with hundreds of thousand of different usage trends! Your not the only person with an EVO...your way of using it isn't the only way!

I find the battery life threads to be an "in one ear and out another" type for me because of the fact what may be "light to moderate" usage for some will be "heavy usage" for some others. Meaning there is no predetermined usage stat catagories that people can effectively use when reporting the battery life to others.
So to the OP ... my advice is to either stop reading them or read them with a grain of salt knowing that each persons usage will vary.

I fully charged my battery on Friday, then shut off my EVO and took out the batter before leaving for the weekend. When came back Sunday night I put it back in the phone and booted up, I had like 98% batter life after like 48 hours!!!!
Please stop posting if you dont have a grasp on the english language.
iamtybaby: I said it before and I'll say it again I got 60 hours out of my battery with moderate usage. That means I DID use my phone. Don't get all jealous and offensive and trolling in other threads if you can't achieve the same thing with your battery or usage pattern!!

the fact that your cell standby is 42% is amazing. and you are using your phone for what it is, a phone. people on here are complaining, "dude i only got 2 hours of battery. all i did was constantly sync email, use facebook nonstop, listened to xm radio, and a little over an hour long video call. how did it not last?????"

and by constant, i mean the screen is on and you are doing something.
if you raised your hand, congrats because you're a liar.
the avg person is awake themselves for ~17hrs a day. so if you're on a cellphone for a constant 12hrs a day, then i'm sorry to say, but it might be time to actually stop being a hermit and interact with the rest of the world. get a hobby, get a job, get a gf/bf, get a life!
