No updates for me. Just checked and there was nothing as of 5 mins ago.

Just gave it a try and no, the market version is not giving me the option whereas the staff/premium release is.

It's essentially the forum and the main phandroid site in an app. It's still in beta at the moment so is slightly buggy, but def. usable.

It's certainly easier to read on a mobile than the mobile version of the site.

Wait. The market version doesn't have (posting) prefix support? I was under the impression it was only missing the sorting feature.

(However, even that has been fixed in the next release which is supposed to be uploaded very soon)

No, you can have both installed. I'm not sure why it didn't work.

Weird it downloads, tell it will overwrite previous versions, says it's installing then I get a green check mark application not installed.

Hang on, which version of the app are you installing? I don't think the most recent one is in the OP and the ability to install alongside the market version was only added recently.

Edit: You want my post, no. 705 in the thread, to download the most recent version.

I'm on my phone do went to tjr forums via the browser. Went to your post and then wad sent to another page and downloaded another version and it downloads then I touch the "download complete " it disappears. I don't have a different app in the app drawer. I know I'm not knife in the drawer but I'm feeling pretty stupid right now.

Open up your file manager and go to the /sdcard/download/ folder (or wherever your browser puts files) and try to install it from there.

Thanks Xyro. That did it. Now I'll go to the thread and see what's different about it.
