tell that there is a way to get into CWM without using the app.....like, if you're in a bootloop because of a wonky build.prop edit...

because i do not want to go through the whole unbrick process right now...especially because i am at work...and on an ubuntu machine that doesn't like to find my phone when i plug it in...

I don't know if this will work for you but I always install the Quick Boot app. After rooting my phone I accidently hit the recovery button on the Quick Boot app and it went straight to the system reset process which put me back to how the phone was when I first got it but I was still rooted. Also if you give it the time it will reinstall any of the apps you had installed before the reset.

He's in a bootloop.....

If you were on jb there is a button combo to get into cwm recovery with power and vol up until lg pops up then release all butons and alternate vol up and vol down.

The good thing is its only a bootloop. Lol. I do that a few times a day when i am playing. :-) except that time a week ago i actually hard bricked....but ill never flash that again.lmfao!!!

Hold down volume down and power. When The phone vibrates, let go of them both and quickly slide your finger across the buttons, from back to menu, until it boots into reset.
