Pleeeeeeeeease explain...

I think I'm ready to root my Hero. The only problem is I don't think I know where to start. Can anyone tell me (or give a link) the exact order to how you root the phone? I've been researching but I just feel lost sometimes. If anyone can explain it, I may give you a cookie... 8)#)
