Help Pls HELP this GRANDMA!

Hello all.....I have a new Walmart Samsung galaxy s 2 on t-mobile service prepaid $50 and can't understand much without instruction book. I am not tech savy and don't understand why YouTube will not play or buffers way to much. Am I supposed to find a flash player and try to install it to play video? I tried from Google play and nothing would or seem direct. Please help if you can I need support. This is my only connection to interent and I understood I would put my sim card in from a Samsung Dart and go....but I am going nowhere instead. This NaNa sure would appreciate you help and suggestions on what to download to this crazy phone before it jumps back in the box and finds it's self back to Wally World.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

You do not need Flash to play videos from YouTube. You may for other video streaming services, but it sounds more like you simply have a limited internet connection. I'd recommend finding a free wifi hotspot like a Starbucks, Borders Books or possibly the Library. See if your videos work any better when connected to a faster internet service.

Thank you so much for the replies. I am so new to technology it's embarrassing....lol. I noticed at Walmart that Straight Talk has the same phone but some of the features are different. Such as the size of the processor. Maybe T-mobile is my problem and not the phone but I don't know how to tell the difference. I think it's crazy to sell a phone without an instruction book. I did try to go to YouTube to view this phones works, however I wasn't able to view it for constant buffering. I have enjoyed reading info on here....THANKS FOR THE WELCOME!

To check if the Internet is good where you are at least to make sure for YouTube problem. In the Google play there is an app called speed test. Once you install it, lunch it and press begin you will be able to see the maximum download speed. If it is above 900 kbs it should work for YouTube. Also is the phone r running 3g or 4G you can see this on the upper right side by the reception bars?
