Help plug in headset handsfree issues

Is anyone else having issues when using a plug in headset to make calls. I can listen fine with headphones but when I call people with a headset plugged in they say I sound crackly and distorted and today people couldn't hear me at all. Tried multiple headphones ..new and old..and I'm on my 3rd g2x. Any ideas? I like the phone but sheesh I need to actually be able to make calls.

Well, I don't have any answers, but I am experiencing the exact same problem. Wifi calling in general is a failure--doesn't work with the headset (can hear them but they can't hear me) and with speakerphone (have to pretty much hold it right to my mouth to be heard).

These things seems to work as expected on normal calling.
